Groundworker/labourer

Charles Davidson & Son Ltd have a vacancy for a groundworker/labourer.

The work will be varied, and will include agricultural drainage, ditching, service tracks, concreting work, operating plant (where qualified), and other aspects of groundworks depending on skills and abilities.

You will be expected to maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, and work within a small team to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

**Requirements**:

- A current driving licence, your own transport, and within commuting distance of Coupar Angus
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required
- Self-motivated, very reliable, and a good team player
- Ability to perform physical labour and lift heavy objects
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Enjoy working outside

This is a temporary post initially, with a view to offering a permanent position.

There will occasionally be out of area work which means very early starts from the yard, and late finishing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £12.00-£15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

**Experience**:

- labouring or groundwork: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
- ticket(s) for operating machines (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Coupar Angus (required)
