Public sector organisation, seeking Deputy Project Manager to join Inverness site.

My client are an essential government body, a crucial player in safeguarding our society, and they are seeking a skilled Project Manager, from a construction background to join their Inverness team on a 2.5 year FTC.
**Your new role**
This role will provide assistance to the appointed Senior Project Manager for the provision of the project management service for the construction of a new facility. It is anticipated that during the main construction phase of this project, that this role willprimarily be site based on site.
In this role, you will be involved in undertaking contract administration tasks including the preparation and control of any employer's contract documentation; attendance at progress and design / technical meetings; overseeing the quality control team (Clerkof Works), ensuring liaison with the contractor's quality staff and monitoring of quality of works in progress; monitoring and reporting on progress; participation in cost management processes; general monitoring of construction works on-site (and off-siteproduction activities where appropriate); monitoring of commissioning and verification processes approaching handover; post-handover activities into the operational stage.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will need relevant experience and understanding of the construction process from inception to completion, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, to budget and quality constraints. Understanding of and experience of utilising projectmanagement skills, techniques and methodology in the development and construction phases of large, high value building projects. A minimum of an HND in a construction related discipline is essential.
