**MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB**:
To ensure that the Cash desk always functions in an efficient and effective manner. All duties of the cashier are controlled in a manner which ensures full and total compliance with laws, regulations and the policies of the Group and minimises the risk of loss through error, negligence, or fraud.

To provide all customers, guests, and visitors with the highest level of customer service to ensure that the unique Metropolitan Gaming experience is always achieved.

Through training and development will be provided to be able to take on multiple cashier and gaming roles throughout the Venue as and when required by management.

The Metropolitan Gaming Cash Desk Manual, available on share point, details the various capabilities and standard expected. Some key points from the manual are:

- Always observe the requirements of the Cash Desk Procedure Manual, Guidelines, policies, directives, and provisions of relevant legislation.
- Ensure all Company records and paperwork are accurately and comprehensively completed in accordance with Company policy, reporting any errors and omissions to your manager.
- Investigating queries from head office or in-casino.
- Updating points/player tracking for customers.
- Maintaining all ATM’s.
- Processing all banking.
- Actively meet day-to-day customer service needs and respond appropriately to all queries.
- Actively create a team environment and support other team members where possible.
- Keep management informed of major players and their transactions or of any unusual incident or event.
- Maintain a good working relationship with management and all departments in the Casino.
- Report and refer to senior colleagues any unusual or major incidents of concern.
- Regularly attend employee meetings and training events as and when required.

Compliance with all relevant legislation is a crucial requirement of the role. In particular, Cashiers are expected to be knowledgeable about all Safer Gaming and Anti Money laundering requirements. Cashiers must undertake regular associated training and immediately raise any associated concerns with their line manager when on duty, as per the Metropolitan Gaming SG and AML policies.

This position requires working evenings, weekends, and shifts that coincide with a 24/7 trading week so individuals should be flexible in their scheduling. Cashiers will spend a large portion of their shift on their feet working directly with the public.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- Holds a valid Personal Functional Licence (PFL)
- Numerate
- Articulate (in English)
- Personable
- Customer service focused
- Computer literate
- Understand and applies of AML/SG policy requirements to the cashier role and freely asks for support or direction to ensure full compliance
- Able to work all London properties [London based roles]
- Able to work various shift patterns as required
- Able to work Night Shifts
- complete an internal annual licence verification process advising company and management immediately of any changes to personal licences status throughout the year
- Complete routine maintenance checks and payments in a timely manner to retain licenced status which permit you to undertake job role.

**DESIRED SKILLS**
- Experience in a Casino Operation.
- Competent in the use of Excel.
