**Painter/Laborer**

J willis decorating is a fast-growing, Durham, Durham-based commercial real estate company. We are currently seeking a full-time painter/laborer to join our team in Durham, Durham.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare walls, ceilings, and other areas for painting
- Paint surfaces with various colors and patterns
- Interact with clients and vendors to provide advice and answer questions
- Prepare and maintain equipment and tools for painting
- Keep art space organized and clean
- Other duties as assigned by manager

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently, to meet deadlines and support team members as needed
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs., etc.)and maintain health insurance for yourself and your family after hire (labor insurance)
- Must be able to pass drug test and background check

**Salary**: £15.00-£16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durham, Durham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- painting: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)
