Trainee Ipaf Instructor

We are looking for the next shining stars to join the team here at Nationwide Platforms as Trainee IPAF Instructors. As part of the wider training team, you will be required to partake in an intensive trainee instructor programme in order to build the skills needed to deliver training courses to internal and external delegates across multiple sites. This is a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic, natural teacher (with a steady head for heights) to train as an Instructor, or for someone who already has their IPAF licences and fancies an alternative career in the world of training.

**Training Programme**

The Programme is delivered over a 3 - 6 month period and is set out below:

- Instructor technique training
- Qualified IPAF operator/ demonstrator trained
- Complete the required minimum hours experience operating MEWPs
- Complete other prerequisite training such as, first aid, MEWPs for Managers etc.
- Undergo IPAF instructor training
- Ongoing assessments throughout the programme
- The programme is completed by a one-day assessment conducted by an external examiner (IPAF)

**Qualification and Experience Requirements**
- Full UK driving license (Essential)
- IPAF Operator Licence (preferred)
- Competent with IT & Microsoft programmes (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
- First Aid Certificate (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible with travel
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent time management
- Professionalism
- Adaptable and can overcome challenges
- Works well under pressure
- Good team player
- Flexible for overnight stays
- Appetite for gaining new skills/ study time
- Comfortable with working onsite at customer premises
