Stores Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stores Manager for a prestigious company near Wallingford.
**About the role**:

- Managing the Goods Inwards, Stores and Stock Control functions
- Overseeing accurate receipt of raw materials and finished products, including quantity and quality
- Liaison with the company’s vendors and produce the relevant documentation
- Location and storage of all incoming material and finished products
- Accuracy and issue of kits to the production line in support of the Production Schedule
- Continuous audit of all stock by periodic cycle counting and audits
- Highlight any stock irregularities including slow moving / obsolescence
- Materials handling equipment within the Stores performing regular checks
- Security of goods inwards and stores
- Compliance of health and safety procedure and other Company policies with the department
- Other people management duties as required

**About you**:
We are looking for someone who is positive, cheerful and enthusiastic with previous experience from a role
as Stores Manager/Supervisor where you have led a team and been involved with their development and
training. This post would suit a well organised, experienced Stores Manager/Supervisor who is used to
overseeing the daily operations within a stores environment ensuring optimal efficiency.Experience of
working in a Production/manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
Do you have MRP/ERP/SAP or similar and possess a good level of Maths and English - Preferably 5 or above in GCSE Maths & English or equivalent and competent using MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
