Teaching Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to join a Crosby secondary school, graded 'Good' by Ofsted.
This secondary school are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the SEN Team to provide 1:1 support to a Year 7 pupil who will be starting in September 2023.
The role is to start in September and will continue for the full academic year The rate of pay will be £76 a day.
You will need:
- To work collaboratively with the SENCo and other members of staff;
- To make a positive impact on the education of the student.
- Be responsible for making learning as accessible as possible for the student whilst being empathetic and patient, ensuring they are as engaged as much as possible.
- To help monitor and track the progress of the student and provide regular feedback to SENCo/Teachers
The successful applicant will need:
- To have experience of working with young people OR hold a Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
- Legal right to work in the UK
