The Department of Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management seeks to appoint a SME Net Zero Engagement Specialist as part of the team for a project funded through the Glasgow City Region’s Shared Prosperity Fund.

The GCR-EXTEND PLUS project will focus on undertaking carbon baseline assessments of SMEs within the Glasgow City Region (GCR). The GCR consists of the councils of Glasgow City, East & West Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, Renfrewshire, and South Lanarkshire. The carbon baseline will serve as a foundation for companies to understand their current carbon footprint, identify opportunities to make immediate and medium-term carbon reductions, and provide guidance on their pathway to Net Zero.

We are looking for individuals who:

- Are passionate about helping SMEs take on the Net Zero challenge.
- Can work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with partners, and
- Can deliver against targets set in the project plan to ensure the best possible impact on SMEs.

To be considered for the role, you will have a good honours degree a (or equivalent professional experience) in appropriate discipline.
