**Trainee ABA Therapist Overview**

As a Trainee ABA Therapist you will be part of a team that provides compassionate, expert care to children with a particular focus on early intervention for children between infancy and nine years old in our Centre and in Outreach School-based settings. You will be part of a team responsible for providing an engaging, positive, and safe experience for children with autism and related developmental disabilities.

**Key responsibilities as a Trainee ABA Therapist**
- Implementing education and therapy plans
- Contributing to the development of ABA programmes
- Regularly review children’s progress
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a safe environment at all times
- Supporting children with personal care tasks
- Building strong relationships with Children and Parents/Carers

**Key Requirements of a Trainee ABA Therapist**
- Ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Organizational skills.
- Professionalism and ability to work closely with families whilst maintaining boundaries.
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Dedication, passion and enthusiasm for working with young children with Autism

**Desirable - but definitely NOT essential to successfully securing a role with First Bridge**
- Previous experience working in mainstream school setting, delivering 1-1 education and therapy
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
- Level 3 or 6 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
- Registered Behavioural Technician (RBT) qualification
- Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis or Registered Behaviour Technician training with an accredited provide

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £23,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
