Group Finance Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced, part or fully qualified Accountant looking to join an established, progressive SME in a Group Finance Manager role. You must have experience of working in a multi-currency finance environment and have demonstrableexperience of producing consolidated management accounts.
This is a newly created position within their global finance team reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller. You must be a strong communicator and be comfortable challenging the norm. Taking ownership for the monthly group accounting deliverables,this role requires a practical and hands-on approach. Proactive and continuous improvement of processes, workflows and outputs will be an essential part of the role to support and create a successful and progressive function.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Production of monthly Group management accounts
- Managing the consolidation and production of regional reporting
- Analysing, investigating and resolving actual vs target variances
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Management of Group journals
- Managing the inter-company recharge process and procedures
- Coordinating the inter-company invoicing, payments and reconciliations
- Financial Reporting and Budgeting
- Providing trend analysis and risk assessments to support ongoing budget management
- Group Cashflow forecasting
- Managing the inputs from the local finance teams and preparing variance analysis and commentary
- Year-end Financial Reporting including production of year-end finance packs for audit
**Experience and personal attributes required**:
- Previous experience in managing multi-currency consolidations
- Advanced Excel skills, experience of working with complex financial models
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with a sound understanding of FRS102
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels
- Experience of working with remote team members
- You will be either a qualified accountant, a finalist, or qualified by experience
