**What you’ll do**:
- Undertake all required training in relation to all aspects of the cleaning service delivered to the client.
- Train and manage cleaning team as directed by line manager and as per training using company resources such as Great cards, e-learning, cleaning offer cards.
- Manage the team’s rotas and time sheets in accordance to training and relevant policies.
- Manage team absence in accordance with absence policy, compete return to works and report any issues to line manager.
- Complete a schedule of cleaning tasks in accordance with SLA and line manager instructions.
- Wear and ensure team wear company uniform and any items of personal protective equipment as per work instructions, H&S guidelines, and management instructions.
- Comply and ensure team comply to COSHH & H&S requirements and all client policies/procedures in relation to housekeeping/infection control/security.
- Ensure the method of conducting all cleaning tasks is as directed via the Great / cleaning offer task cards / pictorial task cards and all requirements of the cleaning offer are carried out.
- Ensure that the site/cleaning offer colour coding policy is always adhered to.
- Manage cleaning stock to promote efficient and effective use of products and materials.
- To report all faults in relation to cleaning machinery/equipment to the line manager
- Understand and comply with all Company and Client policies and procedures, statutory regulations relating to your workplace, this will include but not limited to fire; health and safety; hygiene; working safely; COSHH. Ensure the safety and security of company and client property and ensure team understands and complies.
- Complete all records as directed accurately and in timely manner.
- Report any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage.
- Report all complaints and compliments to line manager, acting where practicable.
- Actively support and promote the “One Team” ethos of working and supporting between departments.
- Attend the Cleaning huddles on weekly basis via telephone or web as required and hold huddles with own team on weekly basis.
- Make suggestions to line manager ideas and innovations to improve the team, cleaning, and site.
- Cross train in other departments to gain skills to be able to provide cover where practicable.
- To carry out any reasonable request by a member of the management team
**What you bring**:
- Flexibility to adapt to changing cleaning priorities
- Experience of managing a team
- Good all round cleaning experience with industry knowledge
- Experience of working in multi-tasking environment
- Able to communicate on all levels, excellent customer care skills.
- Presentable and personable
- Knowledge of H&S
