Toolroom Supervisor

An opportunity for a Toolroom Supervisor has become available to join a very busy, friendly manufacturing environment who are experiencing a steep upturn in work, which is offering greater stability and consistency.

You may be a Senior Toolmaker, looking for your next step up, or an experienced Toolroom Supervisor / Manager, looking for your next move?
As the Toolroom Supervisor you will be given responsibility for managing all tool repairs, modifications, and improvements, as well as assisting with new tools coming into the business.

The role is commutable from Walsall, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, Hall Green, Tyseley, Dudley, Tamworth, Birmingham, Brownhills, Cannock, Halesowen and Stourbridge

**DUTIES OF TOOLROOM SUPERVISOR**
- Manage tool repairs, modifications, and improvements
- Assist with new tools coming into the business
- Negotiate tool release times
- Plan refurbishments
- Monitor toolroom budget
- Identification for areas of improvement in tooling, quality, cost, and process
- Ensure good housekeeping
- Involvement with recruitment

**REQUIREMENTS OF TOOLROOM SUPERVISOR**
- Ideally, Apprentice trained
- It is essential that you have experience of press tools
- Refurb, repair, modification, and new tooling
- The ability to read engineering drawings
- Happy to work days
- To have previous senior level experience
- It would be ideal, if you have previously Supervised within a Toolroom, or, you might be a Senior / Lead Toolmaker who is looking for that next step into Senior Management
