Coating Inspector

**Position**: Coating Inspector

**Location**: Barry, South Wales

**Start Date**: Immediate

**Duration**: 10 weeks

**Shifts**: Approx 45hrs/week Mon-Fri

**PAYE Pay Rates**: £Negotiable, dependant on location and experience

**The Role**:

- Perform daily coating inspections and testing in accordance with the guidance specified in the relative Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and recording results
- Reviewing and understanding various client specifications
- Understanding corrosion, surface preparation, cleanliness, environmental conditions, test instruments, coating mixtures, and safety.
- Completing inspection documents on computer
- Ensuring inspection and test equipment is serviceable before use

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a coating inspector.
- Coatings industry experience that includes a coatings inspection associated with a large project
- ISO:9001 quality systems awareness
- Construction health and safety awareness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Salary**: £200.00-£250.00 per day
