**Low Latency Analyst Lead, Python**

**About The Role**:

- Your primary responsibility will be to design, build and manage a Python based latency monitoring technical framework attached to the company’s trading platform.
- Monitoring fetching processes and data health.
- Designing latency related reports and analysing results to analyse performance and suggest continuous improvement.
- Working closely with and Supporting users ranging from Quants, Research & Traders and Technology Teams.

**Your Current Skillset / Background**:

- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in a Low Latency / HFT Trading environment.
- Excellent Python experience essential, In depth knowledge of automation, C# is a plus.
- Structured and unstructured data management expertise.
- Knowledge of the Financial / Market DataFutures & Options, Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives.
- Intellectual curiosity to learn new technologies.
- Capacity to work with autonomy within a global team.

**Other Beneficial Knowledge**:

- Strong background and knowledge of low-latency networking - including colocation
- Strong knowledge of Exchange Connectivity - ICE / LIFFE, Eurex, CME / CBOT, Euronext, Xetra, Chi-X, LME, LSE, NYSE.
- Experience analysing, identifying and recommending network system optimizations focusing on network solutions that provide Ultra Low Latency - Able to contribute to capacity planning and traffic flow optimization
- Knowledge of FPGA programming.
