**About the Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Fellow in the development of novel single-cell epigenetic sequencing methods to join Chen group in the Cellular Genetics Programme. This position is for a 3 year fixed term post.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Demonstrating and developing your research skills to achieve the following primary objectives:

- Designing and performing novel sequencing methods for profiling of single cells Performing data analysis of single-cell sequencing data in collaboration with other team members.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage project progress and targets
- Communicating results, through publications, presentations

**About Us**:
Our group seeks to explore the epigenetic heterogeneity during tissue development using single-cell sequencing technologies. By integrating multimodal information with developmental biology knowledge, we aim to contribute to the understanding of the regulatory principles of cell-fate specification.

**Essential Skills**:

- Experience of research project planning and troubleshooting
- Experience of writing manuscripts for publication

- Ability to effectively communicate ideas and results to collaborators and present orally groups

- Commitment to personal development and updating of knowledge and skills

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience of working with ATAC-seq librarie.
- Experience of working with tissues and primary cells.
- Understanding of ethics of working with human tissue samples.
- Interest in developmental biology.

**Other information**:
**Salary per annum**:£35,707- £44,712 (dependent upon skills and experience)
