**About the role**

The Ecology team is part of a new service that focusses on the natural and historic environment and is committed to protecting and restoring Wiltshire’s wildlife and supporting well-placed and well-designed growth that meets the needs of people, nature, and climate. We are helping to deliver nature recovery, improving access to the countryside for communities and protecting and enhancing our most important wildlife places.

Our success lies in the people we employ so if you want to be part of our success and make a difference that matters then join our growing team of over 10 existing ecologists and environmental specialists as a key part of the new Natural and Historic Environment service.

**About the you**

You will need to be dynamic and self-driven working closely with colleagues, consultants, and planners. You will be solution focussed, comfortable with working independently as well as part of a team, and able to communicate clearly and problem solve.
