Sports Therapist

Job Overview:
I am looking for a **Sports Therapist** to work alongside out team of Osteopaths.

We all work on a **part-time, self-employed** basis and you would be required to have your own professional insurance.

We have a **strong focus on the Patient/Client journey**, to ensure they are always at the heart the treatment course, and that they feel heard, and understood, at all times.

**Duties**:

- To examine and treat a range of sport related injuries and work alongside the team of Osteopaths
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs
- To work under the practice guidelines of Health Focus Osteopaths
- To provide treatment and advice on rehabilitation and injury prevention with a focus on the individual needs of the client.
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, following ICO requirements and legal guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of therapy

- Empathy and compassion for individuals facing emotional or mental health challenges
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients
- Ability to create a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic environment
- Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and techniques
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to develop effective treatment plans based on individual client needs
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and confidential client records

**Requirements**:

- Recognised qualification for Sports Therapy
- Experience working in a clinical setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of ethical guidelines and professional standards in therapy practice

We are based in a Podiatry Clinic so the ability to work alongside other Health Professionals.

This position will be on a fee split basis.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £100.00-£150.00 per day

Expected hours: 7 - 14 per week
