**CNC Miller / Turner**

£18.00 - £20.00 per hour (based on experience)

Permanent position

A well-established Engineering company based in Birmingham are currently looking for experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operators to join their team on a permanent basis.

**The duties will include**:

- Programming Fanuc-controlled CNC milling machines and lathes using manual programming and AutoDesk CADCAM software where required
- Setting and operating both CNC and conventional (manual) machinery to produce parts from one-offs, to larger batch work
- Carrying out quality inspection of parts produced both manually and by operating a Mitutoyo CMM to measure for accuracy and correct specifications
- Assisting other team members and departments when available to ensure customer satisfaction
- Keeping working area clean and hazard-free
- Ensuring any job paperwork is kept up to date and complete

**Skills and experience required includes**:

- Previous CNC programming experience is essential
- Milling and Turning experience on both CNC and manual machines is required
- The ability to measure and inspect components accurately is essential
- A proactive approach to teamworking is encouraged
- A flexible and positive attitude towards your job role and working hours (overtime if required) would be beneficial

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £18.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
