Wood Machinist

My client a well established carpentry business based in Blackburn is looking for a skilled person with previous experience working in a wood work shop.

Working hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.

**Day to day duties would include**:

- Cutting sheets of wood to size
- Using saws in a safe and organised working manor
- Loading and unloading duties
- Working as a part of a team to assemble goods
- Following diagrams and drawings

**The right person would have the following attributes**:

- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
- Previous work history in a wood work shop
- Able to use equipment and understand health and safety within the workplace
- Be able to read and write
