Cornwall, United Kingdom Cornwall Council Full time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for people with a learning disability and/or autism to join the dynamic CHAMPs Team. CHAMPs stand for Cornwall Health and Making Partnerships and they are a group of people with learning disabilities and /or autism who work hard to improve the health outcomes for this group of Cornish residents. The team's main purpose is to deliver healthy lifestyle courses and presentations as well as managing the Safe Places scheme. The CHAMPs encourage people with disabilities to become more physically active and support walking groups and events throughout the county. The team also produces easy read information for the council and other organisations.

If you have a learning disability and/or autism and would like to help others to lead a healthy lifestyle we would love to hear from you. We are also at the Learning Disability Partnership Board on 25th May, so come along and find out more about this great opportunity and being a CHAMP.
