Auction Lister

As an **Auction lister**, you’ll make sure every item is carefully and accurately researched with a correct description and listed to its full advantage. You will be joining ranks with the friendly team who are passionate about what they doand about making things happen.

You will be working in a dynamic, driven, ambitious environment. They want you to think big and bold, and never stop thinking of ways to do things better.

Auction management: taking photographs, researching items, basic photographic editing, copywriting, on-line platform and live auction listing, site visits.

**Salary**:£22,000 per annum

**Hours of Work**:Monday-Friday, 9:30am-17:30pm (37.5 hours per week)

**Auction Lister Duties**:

- Research (market, competitor, product, pricing, keywords, SEO, positioning)
- Sourcing
- Calculate profitability (mark up, profits, shipping cost etc)
- Progress tracking and reporting
- Copywriting
- Creating images and occasional videos in the studio or on-site visits
- Listing optimisation
- Research and implement new marketplaces
- Research and implement new business models
- Good Mathematical Skills
- Knowledge of Marketplaces, including Amazon Seller Central and eBay.
- Inventory Accounting and Costing
- Excel and relevant computer skills
- Basic Graphic Design / Image Editing
- 3D scanning/ Matterport camera equipment ~(training can be provided)

**Auction Lister Requirements**:

- It often gets very busy, so you'll need to be able to manage multiple tasks and stay organised.
- Competent in problem solving, planning and decision making.
- Thirst for learning and you can think on the spot.
- Someone who can research and understand the value of each item.
- Prioritise workload, with sterling time management.
- Has excellent writing and grammatical skills.
- Works well within a small friendly team, and is not afraid to lend a hand in other areas of the business from time to time.
- GCSE English or equivalent (required)
