**General Builder**

Multi skilled general builder wanted to work alongside all trades, in multiple ongoing projects.

The work is varied so we are looking for someone who is prepared to be flexible in their approach and interested in the different things they will be required to do. The role will require a carpentry-based skill set to include demo, kitchen fitting, tacking, making good, 2nd fix, vinyl flooring, wall tiling, window replacement, bathroom fitting and all other general building tasks.

Applicants must be dependable, efficient, proactive and have a good knowledge of construction site health and safety. They should be able to work well as part of a team but also be able to work independently on their own projects when necessary. Their other important skills include:
Thorough attention to detail.
The ability to remain calm under pressure.
General knowledge of building and construction practices.
The ability to work to deadlines.
An understanding of the importance of on-site safety.
Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.
Be prepared to take junior labourers and apprentices under their wing.

**Schedule/Salary**

8.5 hour day
Monday to Friday
Possible overtime
Possible weekend work
£18.00-£26.00/hr depending on qualifications and experience
Based in Guildford, working in Surrey and surrounding areas.
