**Assembly Supervisor -**

**£13.50 per hour**

**We are seeking an Assembly Supervisor to join our team based in Chelmford Essex. This position requires driving as the site is not easily accessible by public transportation.**

As the Assembly Supervisor, you will oversee the final assembly and packaging of daily outbound orders. You will manage the staff within the area, coordinate with other supervisors on production throughput and delivery schedules. Additionally, your responsibilities will include verifying component accuracy, reading drawings and creating sample units for led lighting, conducting quality control, and managing staff overtime and holiday planning.

**Desired Qualities**:

- Prior warehouse supervision experience is advantageous.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical supplies and wiring systems.
- Proficiency in handling high-pressure situations and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Exceptional team management and motivational skills.

**Working Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm, Friday, 8 am - 4 pm. Overtime options are available.**

The starting pay for this role is £13.50 per hour based on a 41.5-hour workweek. Overtime is compensated at the same rate and is generally required daily. The factory operates from Monday to Friday, 7 am - 7 pm, and Saturday, 7 am - 1 pm.

**Note: While an understanding of electrical systems is beneficial, formal qualifications in electricals are not required. This role is best suited for individuals with experience in light fittings and wiring.**
