Overview:
Do you want to work for a caring organisation that believes in people?

Do you want to end the day knowing you have made a difference?

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Spectrum for you to join a dynamic team committed to supporting people with drug and/or alcohol issues on their recovery journey. As a criminal justice recovery worker with Change Grow Live you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.

**Responsibilities**:
The role of a Criminal Justice recovery coordinator will mainly support people coming through our prison link service, who may receive Drug Rehabilitation Requirements (DRR), Alcohol Treatment Requirements (ATR) and those coming through the Drug Test on Arrest programme as well as other areas of criminal justice involvement including court.

This role includes one-to-one key work, delivering our group work programmes, case management and interacting with partner agencies, particularly prisons, police, probation and courts, to ensure people accessing Spectrum can improve and change their lives.

Don’t worry, we have a robust induction programme consisting of both online and face to face training which includes:

- Substance Awareness
- Motivational Interviewing
- Children’s & Adult Safeguarding
- Service User Planning and Group Work
- Prevent Training (Anti-Terrorism)

There are additional opportunities to develop in your role, for example:

- Acupuncture
- Equality, diversity and inclusion,
- First aid
- Mental health
- Values Based Interviewing

And much, much, more.

Every day is different, with a mix of people who come through the service. We treat everyone as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are your key skills.

We need to record information about what we do, so enjoying a bit of admin work and attention to detail is important, but most of the time you’ll be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives.

Whether you use Spectrum services, or work for us, our motto “you matter we care”, embodies the support and commitment you can expect, we encourage new ideas and input into everything we do and believe every day is a learning day

In return for your commitment, we also provide a wide range of benefits which include:
Health checks, help with paying for childcare, cycle to work scheme, food intolerance and allergy testing, gym flex, motor insurance scheme, active discounts, life insurance, cycle insurance, phone insurance, cycle assist, property assist, will writing service, dining out, employee assistance programme and much more.

Our values are to be open, be bold and be compassionate. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you so click apply.

Please note you will be required to work flexibly across operational sites as required therefore it is essential to hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car. This role requires an enhanced DBS and Police/Prison clearance
