**The Role**

This role is responsible for assisting with Indirect Tax compliance processes primarily associated with VAT reporting responsibilities for Carnival UK. This role will provide support to tax projects to support and streamline tax reporting processes to drive efficiencies and improvements to tax recovery and reporting. The role is a level 4 Professional Accounting Tax Technician apprenticeship and study to gain your ATT qualification.
- Ensures accurate information is prepared to the required deadlines and with due care and attention.
- Applies a continuous improvement mind-set to identify or support development of robust and efficient processes and system improvements.
- Accountable for the review and analysis of vendor data to assign accurate tax attribution of costs.
- Assists with the integration of agreed recovery rules to monthly returns in co-operation with the reporting team.

Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK12 and is offered on a full-time basis, with at least two days based in our Southampton office.

- Competent with Microsoft office
- Clear and concise communicator - excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Resilient - ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- The role is a level 4 Professional Accounting Tax Technician apprenticeship and study to gain your ATT qualification is mandatory.
- Further study to complete an Indirect Tax compliance diploma in the future may also be required.
