Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working with a leading Algorithm Trading Firm based in Central London who have engaged with us to secure an urgent need for an AP Analyst within their finance team.
**Role Overview**:

- Accounting for all invoiced costs, including month end journal posting and control processes.
- Supporting the Financial Control team in the month-end close process, in particular balance sheet account reconciliations (bank, intercompany, prepayments, etc.)
- Producing monthly cost analysis and providing insightful cost reporting, acting as a key business partner for Heads of Departments.
- Professional communication with all suppliers, with appropriate follow up actions leading to prompt resolutions.
- Develop strong understanding of key controls and ensure they are followed appropriately.
- Contribute to identifying opportunities for further improvements to core finance processes and the controls environment.
- Administration of the accounts payable mailbox, concur invoice processing and general ledger posting, with adherence to a high level of quality control through all activities.
- Management of employee expenses processes in Concur, allocating transactions and reconciling to statements.
- At least a 2:1 Bachelor's degree.
- Proficient using MS Office package and experience using accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work through problems logically.
- Keen interest in tech & finance and passion to further develop skills, technically & professionally.
- Strong communication and organisation skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Confident & proactive when interfacing with experienced stakeholders, both internal and external.
- A great team player, with ability to work well independently.
- Positive attitude with a track record of high performance & meeting deadlines.
- Calm, diplomatic, and professional at all times.
