Warehouse Packer/Van Driver

£10.15ph-£10.60ph
Our client has an immediate requirement for experienced Warehouse Packer/Van Drivers to join their team on a temporary basis until the end of January 2023. This is a duel role where you will split your time packing and storing goods within the warehouse anddelivering goods to clients.
This is a weekend assignment, applicants must be available to work Saturday & Sunday from 00:00-08:00.
This is an immediate start with assignments commencing from Saturday 3rd December.
Duties Include:
Unload publisher delivery vehicles as they arrive at the warehouse in order to assist with the accurate recording of all supplies.
Assemble customer supplies of magazines / newspapers / periodicals in accordance with specific quantities detailed on relevant packing documentation or packing system, tying parcels and placing them into the nominated delivery run cage.
Undertake driving duties as when required; delivering supplies to customers and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed as necessary.
Ensure vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times and ensure all relevant driving legislation is adhered to and relevant documentation is completed.
Ensure the warehouse and loading areas are kept clean, tidy and safe at all times to comply with Company Policy and Health & Safety Regulations.
Undertake additional duties together with associated responsibilities as may be requested by Supervisor and Management to meet the needs of the business.
Experience/Skills Required:
Previous experience in a fast moving warehouse environment
Full UK Driving Licence - Catagory B
Clean licence preferred - Max 3 points considered
Attention to Detail
Good Knowledge of local area
Ability to work weekends consistently
Flexible in approach
