Isolations Planner

**About The Opportunity**:
TES are currently looking for an experienced **Isolations Planner** for our **Colchester **office. This position is for** 37.5** hours per week, plus overtime with weekend availability.

The Isolations Planner will join our Electrifications Department, who are an established team of experienced rail safety professionals. You will be instrumental in ensuring the continued safety of all TES 2000 staff and subsequent contracted staff.

**About You**:
The ideal Isolations Planner will:

- Be experienced within the rail industry with in depth knowledge of Network Rail rules and regulations
- Have Nominated Person status
- Possess the following tickets; PTS, COSS, First aid for electrical accidents
- Have strong knowledge of isolation requirements with SSOWP planning
- Ability to exercise confidentiality and autonomy
- Responsible to complete the tasks in hand
- Able to work as part of the team as well as on own

The Isolations Planners' typical day will include:

- Undertaking Isolation and safe work pack planning
- Send out SSOWP more than one shift in advance, along with issuing adequate briefings to the isolation department staff
- Ensure the Isolation department complies with all statutory and Network Rail rules and regulations
- Develop site specific method statements and task briefs and assist in development of Work Package Plans
- Carry out AC Isolations as required and in line with the relevant standards
- Work within the Isolations department, assisting with any other duties deemed reasonable
