We have an exciting opportunity to join the Professional Services team at C+K as a Project Worker.

The role will involve working within the Nexus In-school team to enable all young people on caseload to effectively participate in an extended employability programme offered through a reduced school timetable, mentoring activities and work experience placement. The Post will provide a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled team player to engage with vulnerable young people from the point of referral in Year 9 or 10 through to the end of their programme. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day delivery of the project, including: the smooth administration of project processes; managing and maintaining relationships with schools, parents, and employers; effectively mentoring a caseload of Year 10 and 11 students, and following company safeguarding procedures. In addition, the successful applicant will plan, facilitate, and deliver employability workshops with the support of the Project Coordinator.
- Strong communicator and effective networker
- Relevant qualification to at least level 3, preferably in an area such as youth work, social care, counselling, guidance, CEIAG, coaching or mentoring.
- Well organised and highly motivated
- IT-literate and competent in the use of digital delivery platforms and database recording systems
- Drive, commitment, and resilience
- Knowledge of the issues affecting personal development in young people and the agencies which specialise in helping them.
- Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
