Your new job working as an Aviation Technician will be working for an established Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers. Your new Brokers have been established for a number of years and understand the importance of being client focused. They are growing in allareas and are now an employer of choice. They consider themselves leaders in everything they do and champion best practice. Their Company is centred on strong relationships and trust. Due to the growth within the Aviation Division, a permanent position foran Aviation technician has arisen.
Your new job
Your new job working as a Aviation Technician is a brand new role where you will be responsible for providing a professional level of technical service in order to support their Aviation division as well as the Aviation Brokers. You will act as a point of referralfor the Brokers. giving guidance and help with any technical issues, as well as investigating and resolving any accounts queries, liaising with different offices as necessary. Other duties will include, preparing MRC slips and endorsements as well as formaldocumentation for presentation to the market i.e. quote/firm order/certificates and other documents required by the brokers. Ensuring divisional processes and are in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements and keeping the Aviation divisionand Brokers aware of any complex or non-standard technical matters arising internally and externally
What you will need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a technician handling Aviation business, will contribute to your success in securing this role. This is a new role and you can create grow this opportunity to make it your own. Ideally you will be CERT CII qualified or atleast working towards you will have good knowledge and understanding of Aviation and familiarity with the London Market would be an advantage. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as strong organisational, prioritisationand time management skills. Your high level of accuracy and attention to detail will show your willingness to learn and proactively self-develop with proven ability to work effectively as a team player but flexible enough to work on own initiative. Proficientuser of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
