We are currently looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to work in an exceptional specialist college in South London. The college caters for pupils aged over 16 who have SEN status as well as pupils currently undertaking apprenticeships or vocationalcourses.

**The Role**

You will encourage and support learners throughout their educational journey in this role.

You will be required to assist pupils in understanding mental health and well-being as well as aid pupils with their therapy programmes. The position is motivating and rewarding. Any individuals with the right background or attitude will be considered. Therole is to begin ASAP until the end of the academic year.

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

- Experience working with young adults who have SEN status (Desirable)
- Experience in working with, or caring for, vulnerable children or adults who require additional support
- Capacity to form honest working relationships with students, parents or carers and colleagues alike
- Good oral and written communicative skills
- Good organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to work under pressure
- To be adaptable and flexible in the work you do and show that you can use your initiative
- To understand that you must be a good role model for students and colleagues alike
- Great opportunity for someone who enjoys ambitious work in a role that is both fulfilling and gratifying
