Head of Quality Assurance - Private Care Homes

Location: Havant

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

**Salary**: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum

Tide Partnership are delighted to be partnering with a private and growing care home provider who are searching for an experienced Head of Quality Assurance to take charge of the department.

**Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Develop and Implement Quality Assurance Strategies:

- Devise and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies aligned with organisational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Establish quality objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement and measure performance against established benchmarks.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance:

- Stay up-to-date with healthcare regulations, standards, and guidelines, and ensure organisational compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain processes to monitor, assess, and implement necessary changes to meet evolving regulatory obligations.
- Oversee Quality Management Systems:

- Design and implement robust quality management systems to drive consistency and efficiency across all healthcare services.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality management processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as required.
- Conduct Quality Audits and Assessments:

- Plan and execute internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective and preventive actions to address any identified gaps or deficiencies.
- Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

- Lead quality improvement initiatives, utilising data-driven methodologies and best practices to enhance patient safety, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by providing guidance, training, and support to staff members at all levels of the organisation.
- Collaborate and Communicate:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical staff, operations, and senior management, to ensure effective communication, coordination, and implementation of quality assurance initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and updates on quality assurance activities to senior leadership and participate in relevant committees and meetings.

**Job Criteria**:

- Registered Clinical Professional
- 3 years minimum experience within a clinal services
- A knowledge and understanding of the current legal responsibilities and CQC requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify poor quality and quickly resolve
