**Peterlee/Remote - Hybrid**

**£24/hr to £32/hr - Inside IR35 - (fully dependent on experience)**

**18 month initial contract**

A Category Buyer opportunity has become available for one of the world’s leading manufacturers of off-highway machinery and diesel and natural gas engines.

Role Duties:

- Management of the supplier base (Indirect Purchasing Suppliers) for specific categories
- Management of Bidding process based on stakeholder requests
- Management of strategy for local source
- Management of supplier performance using SRM process
- A good understanding of purchasing
- Relevant education background
- Indirect purchasing experience
- Well-developed interpersonal skills are required in dealing with sensitive issues, developing others, and reaching consensus on specific actions
- Analytical, problem solving, and project leadership skill.
