An opportunity to join the surgical team in Morriston Hospital for 15 hrs a week has arisen due to staff changes. Come and join our forward thinking physiotherapy team.

The service covers various surgical specialties including respiratory, vascular, colorectal, urology, maxillofacial, ENT and complex general surgery. There is a good deal of variety and the team is very welcoming.

The role will involve working in support of the physiotherapist in the assessment of patients, facilitating timely discharge, delivering physiotherapy treatment programmes as part of an individualised plan of care and promoting independence by working independently or with other members of the physiotherapy or wider multidisciplinary team.

A health related NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification is essential for this post.

Previous experience of working in the NHS or hospital and MDT setting is preferable.
