**Position Title**: Purchase ledger clerk
**Location**:Paneltex, Hull Somerden Road
**Hours of work**:40 hours per week - Monday-Friday 0900-1730
**Salary**:Up to £23,000 DOE
**Other Benefits**:Equivalent of 32 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), Contributory pension scheme & Life Assurance cover.
**Job Overview**
Assist with a wide variety of accounting tasks to develop your skills in accordance with your ability and the work load of the Accounts Department.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Management of supplier accounting records.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Processing and reconciling invoices to relevant documentation and records and dealing with resulting queries both internal and external.
- Processing supplier and nominal ledger payments.
- Administer all relevant completed paperwork records, scanning, shredding, archivingetc.
- Assist with a range of office, administrative and ad-hoc finance related tasks as required.
- Comply with all relevant legislative requirements.
- Comply with all policies and procedures.
- Any other duties commensurate with the grade of the post.

- Organisational and administrative skills.
- Positive attitude.
**Qualifications**
- GCSE Mathematics grade C, grade 4 minimum, or equivalent.
