We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic person to join us in the role of Team Secretary at Weymouth & Portland Community Mental Health Team for 22.5 hours per week. Hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9.00 - 17.00 (inc 30 mins lunch).

Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check

To provide secretarial cover for the Dorset Council Team based within the Weymouth and Portland Community Mental Health Team.

To use a wide range of manual and electronic systems and software and ensure information is appropriately and securely stored, filed and easily retrievable including budget spreadsheets.

Process referrals for Social Care assessment.

Monitor review dates and advise Area Practice Manager of reviews due.

Arrange meetings and ensuring that all parties have the relevant information.

Minute taking at meetings including professional meetings and risk management meetings.

To liaise with relevant staff from Health, Social Services and other agencies as required.

To deal with incoming and outgoing post and producing / printing letters and reports as required.

To adhere to Trust and Dorset Council standards and processes regarding all aspects of role.

To support the Admin Team Leader and Integrated Service Manager in aspects of service provision as and when required.
