The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.

Reporting to the Production Manager, as the Cylindrical Grinder Setter Operator you will be setting and operating a range of CNC and Manual controlled machinery.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Setting and operating a variety of CNC and Manual Cylindrical Grinders
- Producing precision machined components and tooling items
- Checking the quality of components produced throughout the batch cycle
- Recording quantities and time taken, using company systems
- Carrying out regular 1st line maintenance of the machines as per company schedules

**Qualifications**:

- Proven CNC and Manual Cylindrical and Internal grinding experience
- Proficient in using Fanuc machine controls
- Experience of grinding external and internal diameters
- Experience of working in a close tolerance Aerospace environment
