This is a field-based role, with responsibility to travel to clinical research sites across the UK to support an exciting range of trials in a newly formed Trial Management team. Initially this team will have responsibility for trials in Sickle Cell Disease, Advanced Therapeutics and ACS. Trials may range from Phase 1 - Phase IV.

**The Position**

We are looking for **two** Clinical Research Associates who will be responsible for:

- Acting as the main line of communication with Investigator site teams
- Appropriate site and investigator selection and activation, including obtaining necessary greenlight documents, training site staff, ensuring system access and conducting site initiation visits
- Conducting and documenting monitoring visits in accordance with the Monitoring Plan and Risk Indicator Reports, using risk-based quality principles
- Driving activities with sites to achieve recruitment and retention targets
- Management of protocol compliance, IMP handling and data entry requirements at site

**Qualifications**
- Education to degree level, life science or nursing qualification or equivalent
- Pharmaceutical, CRO or Healthcare industry/NHS experience
- Previous experience of monitoring trials in accordance with ICH GCP methodology (desirable)
- Knowledge of clinical trials and UK trials environment (desirable)

**About the Department**

You will be part of a highly motivated UK CDC team responsible for the planning, execution and completion of projects related to the development of new medicinal products.

The UK CDC is a team of 70+ highly skilled and ambitious colleagues responsible for the planning and execution of clinical trial activities in accordance with the Product Development Plans of Novo Nordisk.
