An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Sheffield Community CAMHS Team at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust as an Art Psychotherapist.
- To manage a defined caseload of young people with complex needs who are out-patients in the CAMHS service using specialist art psychotherapy interventions, including managing safeguarding and risk assessments as necessary.
- To assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual, dyadic and group therapy intervention/sessions as appropriate.
- To take part in the development and implementation of evidence-based practice for Arts Psychotherapies in the CAMHS service.
- To participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of the Art Psychotherapy service for children and young people.
- To contribute to the maintenance and development of the Arts Psychotherapies service within Psychological Services, within Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.
- To provide generic initial assessments to children, young people and families.
- To work effectively with a range of other professionals within the MDT, providing a high level of good communication with staff and service users.
