Laundry Assistant

As a customer facing role you will be expected to provide excellent customer service and operate the EPOS system ensuring correct data is entered

Duties will include, but not limited to:

- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, ironing machines and hand iron to a high standard safely and efficiently
- Classify, wash, dry, and fold or iron both commercial and walk in customer’s laundry
- Inspect garments and linens for stains/damages and report/resolve any issues
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area

Desirable skills:
Previous experience working in a laundry setting is preferred
Knowledge of different fabrics and their care instructions
Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met
Good time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
