We are looking for an agricultural worker to join the team at our family farm on the North Norfolk coast. We are an organic arable farm of 300ha, with established nature friendly farming practices.

We are currently growing spring wheat and spring oats. The farm is in a mid-tier countryside stewardship scheme so alongside the cropped areas we have lots of flower-rich margins and plots, wild bird seed mixture and cultivated areas for arable plants.

Hours and days worked can be flexible and vary week to week as well as during term-time and holidays. Please let us know your availability so we can discuss a suitable arrangement. No over-time rate is offered, but hours will be longer during key harvest days.

We are a small team so the role will be varied but the bulk of the role over the summer will be:

- Tractor and trailer driving
- Barn work
- Irrigation if weather requires it
- Variety of jobs operating telehandlers, if qualified
- Woodland work on occasion

The person:

- A keen individual who is willing to listen, communicate and learn from peers
- An awareness of farm safety and attention to detail and for tidiness
- Ideally some farm experience
- An interest in nature friendly farming practices
- A team player who’s prepared to use initiative
- Punctual
- Full UK driving license

Unfortunately, we cannot provide accommodation. We are on the bus route between Wells & Hunstanton, but due to timetabling, this is not ideal for the end of the day, so own transport would be preferred.

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
