Hgv Mechanic

The successful **HGV Mechanics** will be responsible for working as part of a team to repair and maintain the company’s fleet of vehicles, including HGV and LGV.

**HGV Mechanic** Responsibilities:

- Inspection of vehicles to ensure that all service and maintenance needed to maintain the vehicle is recorded and carried out.
- Use computerized diagnostic machine to locate any mechanical faults.
- Complete job cards and write reports regarding customer vehicle fleets.
- Carry out Pre-mot checks and complete mot testing on vehicles.
- Carry out fault diagnosis on hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems and effect repairs to same.
- Ensure health & safety procedures are followed and adhered to.

**HGV Mechanic** Requirements:

- Hold a strong Mechanical Engineer / Hydraulic or Pneumatic Engineer / Fitter background.
- Experience working on HGV vehicles is beneficial.
- Ideally hold minimum Class 2 HGV/LGV Licence, but not essential.
- Basic electrical knowledge for fault diagnosis and rectification.
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.

**HGV Mechanic** Benefits:
