**Roles and Responsibilities of the Librarian**:
- Identify, promote and provide support for learning resources in liaison with teaching staff within designated schools.
- Provide cross-college study skills support.
- Assist with the day-to-day management of the libraries and learning resource centres.
**To be considered for the role of Librarian, you will require**:
- Degree/MSc in Librarianship/Information Studies OR extensive library experience.
- Subject/academic librarian experience.
- Excellent customer service.
- The ability to identify and provide support for learning resources.
- Experience with e-resources.
- Study skills support.
- Issue and enquiry desk experience.
- Classification/cataloguing experience.
**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Solihull, B91 3RB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
