**Role Overview**:
In this role, you will work closely with our clients and accountants, providing comprehensive bookkeeping services and supporting their financial management. This position requires a detail-oriented, reliable, and communicative professional who is committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and client satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain clients' financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Process accounts receivable and payable for multiple clients.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for client review in conjunction with our Accountants.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and manage cash flows.
- Liaise with clients to gather financial data and resolve queries.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
- Support clients with payroll processing and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably within an accountancy practice or similar professional environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and MS Office.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with clients.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
