**Maintenance Shift Supervisor**

**Bridgnorth, Shropshire**

**Continentals - 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off**

**£48,000 + Shift Allowance**

We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Shift Supervisor to join a market leading roll forming specialist. You will be responsible for leading and developing the engineering team to provide a responsive, professional, and quality aware engineering maintenanceservice as well support breakdowns of components/machinery and to ensure that everything is running to an adequate standard whilst adhering to all health and safety legislation. You will manage the day-to-day production engineering tasks, including PPM, breakdownand continuous improvements utilising and administering the CMMS system in place. You will assess training requirements in the team and organise in conjunction with the Engineering and H&S Managers. The position will appeal to an engineering supervisor lookingfor their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

This is a diverse role working on special purpose machinery, in a fast-paced manufacturing and processing environment, working within a small team of engineers. As world class leaders there will be ample opportunity for personal development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Day to Day management of the resources of the Unscheduled Maintenance Team, ensuring sufficient resources are always available to deal effectively with site wide issues, in line with set site priorities.
- Ensure all work is progressed in line with agreed site priorities and criticalities.
- Ensure all repeat failures or areas of concern are clearly reported to the owning Departments Reliability Teams.
- Set and maintain high standards for housekeeping in workshops, offices, mess rooms, vehicles and areas of work on site.
- Provide Toolbox talks at the start of the shift to their Team.
- Feedback the findings of the Safety Meetings to their Line Manager.
- Provide written reports to the Departmental Operations Team following critical failures.

**Required Skills**:

- Minimum HNC/HND in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Time served industrial Apprenticeship, plus 10 years' relevant industrial experience.
- Degree in relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
- Qualification in Management & Leadership - CMI Level 3 or higher (or similar).
