**Fixed-term: for 12 months**

**The Opportunity**:
Our 12-month anaesthesia internship programme provides an opportunity for recently-qualified veterinarians to receive high-quality postgraduate training in small animal anaesthesia and analgesia. You will contribute to the provision of clinical anaesthesia in the School’s Small Animal Hospital and combine clinical excellence with compassionate care. The emphasis of the programme is on gaining practical clinical experience in small animal anaesthesia however exposure to large animal species would also be possible in our Large Animal Research & Imaging Facility (LARIF). This provides you with an opportunity to participate in a specialist veterinary discipline and can allow preparation for a Senior Clinical Training Scholarship programme, a career in research, academia or clinical anaesthesia.
