We're on the lookout for a service focussed and meticulous People Operations Specialist to join our People Operations Team, supporting our Senior People Operations Manager for Europe West. This role is at the heart of our mission to redefine our ways of working and sustain our commitment to delivering top-notch services to our customers.

**Your Role in our mission**:
Supporting Payroll coordination, you will ensure smooth payroll administration and support various aspects of People Operations. From on and offboarding, supporting people partners and senior managers with reports and analytics, to payroll query resolution, your contributions will be key to our success. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a people first organisation, focussed on driving positive change and innovation in our processes.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Calculation, data and analytical skills: Work magic with payroll data, resolving queries, and ensuring accuracy in calculations ensuring all our employees get paid correctly and on-time, every time. Calculate and check overtime, ad hoc payments, and allowances for various business areas. Submit accurate deductions, including private mileage, union fees, and more.
- Curiosity and standard methodology: Create and maintain a knowledge base of regulations, company principles, and standard processes.
- Tech minded: Collaborate with Digital and HRIS teams to enhance our use of technology for efficient HR, Absence, and Payroll processes.
- Onboarding and payroll management: Process new starters, changes, and leaver data and paperwork with precision.
- Champion Compliance: Conduct HR and payroll data audits, controls, and analysis to support compliance and data accuracy.
- Communication and collaboration: Provide professional, accurate, and timely correspondence on various HR/Payroll matters.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Experience: Payroll processing experience within a sizeable company.
- Legal know-how: Knowledge of UK and Southern Ireland Payroll and Employment Laws is a plus.
- Tech savvy: Advanced MS Excel skills are desirable—show us your spreadsheet prowess Experience with MHR iTrent software for absence management and reporting is advantageous.
- Detail and organisation orientated: Work with multiple data sources with high attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative and communication: Thrive independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team. Strong written and verbal communication skills and a knack for cross-functional collaboration.
- Adaptability: Embrace new systems with confidence and explore functionalities with a dedicated, autonomous approach.
