**Exam Invigilator Grade 1 Salary £11.59 per hour**

**Required during mock exams and the summer exam season, flexible and casual hours**

Monkwearmouth Academy is a secondary school in north Sunderland, the school is passionate about education and the values of **Believe** in yourself, **Achieve** the highest standards and **Succeed **in life.

We wish to appoint a number of Invigilators to support examinations in the Academy.

Duties include supervising students taking examinations, preparing exam rooms and distributing and collecting exam papers. Full training for the post will be given.

Monkwearmouth Academy and Tyne Coast Academy Trust are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff to share this commitment and to undergo appropriate checks including an enhanced DBS with barred list check.

In accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023, an online search will be completed on all shortlisted applicants prior to interview. Any relevant information will be discussed further with the applicant during the interview process.

**Salary**: £11.59 per hour
