Someone that is driven and has previous experiencing managing a coffee shop or restaurant. Someone that loves customers and loves working in the hospitality industry, must like coffee and cake too

Must be able to work Wednesday-Sundays 8-4pm and the odd evening for our private events as you'll be taking full control ensuring they run smooth.

We may be a coffee shop, but we are seriously passionate about the food we serve, as a result we won best Cafe/Coffee shop in Milton Keynes 2022. We're up for so many awards this year too

We're known for one of the best brunch destinations in Milton Keynes. We've spent 6 years building our team and reputation for incredible coffee, bakery, brunch and lunch.

As a Supervisor you will help lead a team of eager and talented individuals that work hard and relentlessly to deliver outstanding food to our customers. Every dish is lovingly prepared one plate at a time to deliver outstanding service to our customers. The ingredients we use are of the highest local produce.

The successful Cafe Supervisor Must Have
- Worked in hospitality/catering at a supervisory level
- Barista Experience
- Food safety & hygiene Certificates
- Thorough understanding of allergens
- Knowledgeable in maintaining and monitoring Health and Safety
- Remains calm under pressure
- Good time management
- Amazing customer service
- Good people person
- Exceptional attention to detail and forward-thinking ethos
- Demonstrate a professional, enthusiastic and flexible approach
- Able to promote excellent team work to achieve exceptional customer experience

What will you be up to day to day as a Supervisor?
- Managing day-to-day operations of the cafe.
- Supervising the coffee shop to ensure a consistently high standard of service is presented to our customers
- Working with Kitchen Manager and Head Chef on promoting our weekly specials.
- Coming up with new ideas for front; including improvements, drink ideas, event ideas.
- Delivery of exceptional customer service, going above and beyond for guests.
- Ordering supplies, recruiting staff, training, team development, coaching, sales and miscellaneous reports.
- Lead by example; be energetic, driven and self-motivated to be a role model for staff
- To take the lead in the daily operational running of the Front of House ensure that everything runs as effectively as possible whilst leaving the Head chef to manage the cook line.
- To ensure customer’s orders are successfully fulfilled to a high standard, with no missing items, while ensuring payments are made as efficiently as possible.
- To always uphold effective communication to ensure a smooth handover from open to close.
- To drive and motivate the team through confidence, leading from the front, promoting positive and a can-do attitude encouraging the same across the department.
- To support, train and empower the team to provide the highest possible levels of customer service while anticipating the needs and wants of our guests to ensure an outstanding experience.
- To take responsibility for your team to complete relevant daily tasks on your shifts (including re-stocking, cleaning tasks, quality & temperature checks), actioning any outstanding problems or discrepancies.
- To continuously quality check all food and drink products that are being sold to customers to ensure they are always an exceptional standard.
- To always comply with EHO and H&S regulations, managing the team to adhere to the same rules.
- To take responsibility for the department’s sales and profitability, mitigating wastage at every opportunity.
- To take responsibility for the department’s ordering, ordering all items weekly through our purchaser, to ensure accurate stock replenishment in busy trading periods, always using purchase orders to do so.

Minimum 2 years Supervisor Experience required. Hospitality experience required.
