This is a large NHS organisation to be working for, offering the chance for someone with mínimal pharmacy experience to be upskilled into a Band 3 role and gain experience within the NHS Hospital sector The role is part time, x2 days per week working
**Wednesdays and Fridays**
on an ongoing basis.
The service require up to x2 Locum Pharmacy Assistants to work inside the outpatient dispensary service, the day to day duties will mainly consistent of dispensing medication and prescriptions. This is a large team to work for, there will be numerous otherPharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians as well as Support Workers in the inpatients to assist where needed. There could also be some stock control and dossete box work too. Full training on these duties will be provided to pharmacy professionals who have not workedin a hospital service before An NVQ2 or equivalent pharmacy qualification is a neccesity to be considered for this post.
The working hours are 9am - 5.30pm (1 hour lunch), Wednesdays and Fridays.
The service need a locum Pharmacy Assistant to join them ASAP (mid February 2023) for a period of 6 months or more Please note, only MINIMAL pharmacy experience is required, so those with purely community pharmacy experience will be considered, providing youhave one of the relevant pharmacy qualifications.
- x2 Locum Band 3 Pharmacy Assistants required in Warwick - NHS Hospital role
- £12 - £13 per hour
- Only mínimal pharmacy experience required to be eligible Hospital training provided
- Start date: mid Feb 2023
- 6 month contract - may extend - x2 days per week role
- NVQ2 or equivalent required
